David Clayton is a creative director and founding partner of studio Plucky.

Originally from London, UK, Clayton graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1998. He began his career in motion graphics with a design internship at Imaginary Forces, which eventually led to a full-time job. In 2001, Clayton moved to Picture Mill, where he would go on to become an associate creative director. In 2014, he co-founded design and production studio Plucky with Jeffrey J. Marks.
