Kasumi Mihori is an Emmy Award-winning creative director and motion designer based in Los Angeles, California. She is currently VP Creative at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Hailing from Florida, Kasumi attended School of Visual Arts in New York where she studied graphic design and industrial design (then called 3D design). She has produced large-scale, high profile branding initiatives with studios and companies Pittard Sullivan LA and NY, Razorfish, Turner Broadcasting, and Troika.

In 1997 her work on the titles to UPN’s The Burning Zone and the titles to Disney’s The Magical World of Disney earned her two Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Main Title Design. In 1998 her work on ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney won the Emmy. She has also been recognized with Promax Gold Awards, Mobius Awards, Regional Emmys, and Webby Awards.
