Stéphane Coëdel is a motion designer, animator, and director from France. He studied graphic and sound design and, after graduating, he moved to Paris. There, he worked as a motion designer for eight years in the DVD industry, creating and experimenting with animated menus. In 2006, he left Paris for London to pursue a more ambitious path. Since then, Stéphane has been collaborating regularly with animation studios like Disney, ABC Television Group, Cartoon Network, and Passion Pictures.

Since meeting artist Kevin Dart in 2008, the two have been collaborating regularly and have co-directed several shorts and commercials including The Amazing Adventures of Kid Cole & Klay, A Kiss from Tokyo, Looks That Kill, and A Year of Sun With Mr. Persol.
